Hello! I've been streaming on YouTube for about 2 years now and I love it! For the last 2 months when streaming my kb/s on OBS will jump around. My bitrate is set to 4000 and my upload speed is 9mbps. I have ran speed test after speed test and the 9mbps is solid and consistent. The weirdest part is that I created a Twitch account and did a test stream to compare. When streaming to Twitch I have zero issues. Everything works flawless. I went right back to YouTube and my kb/s jumps around again. Anywhere from 0-4000. I tried the primary YouTube ingest server and the backup one. No luck :(
Just wondering if anyone has dealt with a similar issue. I have tweaked and tried to fine tune my settings on OBS, but nothing seems to make a difference. Even if I stream at 720 and lower everything accordingly it will still jump around and lag if I stream on YouTube. Thanks for your help friends!
