I recently found out that chrome is causing me to drop frames. I have about a 5.8 upload and stream at a 3000 bitrate with no issues but when I open chrome, I instantly start dropping frames. I have tried lowering the bitrate to 2000 and even 1500 and it still results in dropped frames if chrome is open. I have a fairly high end PC (i7 6700K, GTX 1080, ROG Maximus Viii Hero Alpha mobo) so I don't think its has to do with hardware and I have a driver program to help automatically update anything. The weird thing that I found is that Microsoft Edge doesn't cause any frames drops at all and I don't have a issue using it but I like to use BTTV for my chat when streaming. If anyone has a solution or suggestion please let me know!
