DroidCam, switching scenes different camera settings

Hi,
I'm using Mac OS with DroidCam (both latest versions). My OBS scenes are either full camera display, or with an Image Mask/Blend to display a small video of me when sharing my screen. Please how can I configure each scene to use (or retain) the settings with or without Image Mask/Blend?

Currently, if I configure one DroidCam scene, it automatically changes the settings for the other DroidCam scene i.e. copies whether or not to use the Image Mask/Blend. This makes having separate scenes ineffective. Perhaps I've missed some setting?

On windows and different camera, this worked well. Please advise likely source of issue, or any work around.

Thank you!

Hello bronzo: Would the Source Clone plugin help in this situation?

Hi KUCTech, This looks potentially perfect, however, noob question: How do I access it? I've installed it, I can't find the plugin within OBS.
Unlike previous plugins, this one came with a .dmg file for install.
The install process says it completed fine.
Where is it/how do I access it?
Thanks

Hi bronzo: If you have already installed the Source Clone plugin, it should show up as a Source i.e. in the list of available Sources when you are adding a new source. It looks like you are using a Mac, but unless the developer says otherwise, I wouldn't expect that to be an issue.

I am using Source Clone (on Windows 11) for a PTZ camera where I want to apply a filter in one scene, but unfiltered in another, and it is working well for my case.

If you haven't already seen it, there is a good video on how it works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9TJ8G_CBAMs

Good luck,
Tony N.

Wahoo!!! Thank you Tony. I am so relieved to get this working.

I'm not sure what the quirk was. I had checked the Sources list multiple times and it wasn't there.

I had run the install a third time just to analyse the install process, not the output. I suspect that last install must've done a successful install.

I'm up and running. This is great. Thank you for your recommendation and troubleshooting.

Cheers

Matt
