Question / Help Downscaling presets

Hello.
Is there any visual performance/cpu usage difference between 8,16,32 down scaling presets, if 1:1 resolution used?
For example base 1280x720p, and scale absolutely same 1280x720p?
I'm asking because there is no option to turn this thing off.

No. Leave filter at at bilinear. And if you did see the difference don't touch it.
