doubled game audio

so i can capture all my audio fine.

However, i use the astro a40 TR and therefore i have an aux from the mixamp to the back of my computer (green line in) to act as my desktop audio.

This sets my astro a40s as the desktop sound so when i open obs it is sending the game audio twice to my headset and everything is duplicated.

I have set my astro in the command centre to have aux muted but it is still sending audio to my headset and i believe this is because its acting as my computer speakers?

Please help

I have this same problem, I fixed it by unplugging my mic from my computer and only keeping the headphone jack plugged in

or you can monitor your headphone/desktop audio and output it to your monitor, and then record your monitor audio instead of the desktop audio
