Hi guys! Specs are below!

Processor: i5-7600k
Ram: 16gb DDR4 2400
GPU: GTX 1060 gb
PSU: 400W Bronze EVGA Fully Modular
Motherboard: asrock b250m-hdv

So I am attempting to stream basic games like overwatch, fortnite, etc... I am trying to see what may be the issue. I am using a 140hz acer monitor, and a small 720p monitor that i have obs open on, and the second I open OBS, The frame rate does not drop, but the refresh rate does, I still get 200 plus FPS ingame but i feel like the monitor does drop to 60 hz and all games feel slugish. I will put my logs in the post.

I’ve had this same issue, and I hate to say that the only fix that I had was using a second 144hz monitor. If you had both monitors at 60HZ there wouldn’t be an issue, but sadly, when OBS is open and has to process the game play and turn it into a 60HZ video file, it doesn’t work since 60 can not go into 144. But if you possible upgraded your monitor (NOT SAYING YOU SHOULD) to a 240hz or get a second 144hz, the issue would be resolved.
