As the title says, does OBS Studio support multi-channel devices through WASAPI?

I would like to run multiple sources through an audio interface and leverage OBS's mixer and multi-track recording to create video recordings that can later have their channels pulled apart.

I'd rather run this through a single audio device that supports multiple channels for various technical & quality reasons.

Additionally, if anyone has any luck with this, what device are you using? I'm looking for devices that support WASAPI as well and want to make sure it'll work in OBS.

Nope. Sadly that function is not avaliable, not over WASAPI or ASIO. WASAPI is supported in the basic form (you can see in the OBS log that the software is actually using WASAPI shared drivers but it will never grab multiple mono or stereo in/outputs like a DAW or a DJ programm). I would love to use that too, specially to exclude music from the recording since that is always a pain in the ass with the copyright bullcrap around. But no way to get it done on the hardware level, you have to use multiple soundcards for that in the best case.
