Question / Help Does OBS Studio have Multicore Optimizations?

Hi,

I was wondering OBS Studio has multicore optimization? Currently when I do a local recording or stream OBS will only use 25% of my CPU at 720p/30 whereas previous versions (the betas when OBS was still OBS Multiplatform, not Studio) the CPU usage for 720p/30 was higher than 25% and gave me a better experience.

I am using the same settings that I have previously used and I am constantly getting "encoding overloaded" messages, which results in massive amounts of frame drops. This was not the case previously and I am running the same game with same settings both ingame and in OBS.

Check by CPU-Z: maybe speedstep or cool'n'quiet in work? Or adjust your power options to something like 'high performance', if it adjustable in control panel of your windows.
Recording needs a lot of CPU. OBS MP eats a piece of each core of my dual core processor. Post a log if you are unsure.
