I have had this problem ever since I attempted to stream and record in 1080p instead of 720p. I switch my output resolution to 1920x1080 to match my base resolution and nothing works anymore. If I select "Start Recording" then it creates a 1 second video file off of it and if I try to end the recording, it gets stuck on "Stopping recording" and does it forever. For streaming, there is no output given as it stays on 0 kb/s and Twitch isn't showing anything. I can select Exit, but it still runs even though the window closes and I have to use end process on it in task manager. The same happens if I attempt to start streaming (and streaming while recording).
This is the only program I use for streaming (as the one that came with the capture card no longer allows me to) and I also like to upload my streams right after on YouTube. This whole thing is driving me insane as people I've asked either can't help or don't know the problem.
Here is the log, which should be the correct one. Is my computer not compatible with OBS Studio at 1080p or something? Maybe I have a setting wrong? I just mainly brought over settings from original OBS or googled recommended settings.
