Does localStorage get cleared during OBS updates?

Couldn't find the answer online so asking here - hope it's not a duplicate.


I need it because I will be using the feature to store persistent data.
 
No, it does not. I use localStorage with my browser docks and sources, OBS updated this morning and all of the information stored remained.
 
I have talked to the development team. It is persistent data, but bad practice as some user debugging steps in OBS involves deleting the cache. Thus it is not recommended.
