Does it make sense to change monitors for 1080p broadcasting and recording?

Hello, I am currently broadcasting from 1440p to 1080p by using downscale in my broadcasts. I take my recordings in the same way and upscale them. Would it make more sense if I bought a 1080p monitor instead of my 1440p monitor and made my broadcasts and recordings in 1080p?

The reason I do this is to be able to upload with vp9 codec so that the quality does not decrease on YouTube and other platforms.
