Does anyone know why my cam footage on obs isn't reflecting what my cam quality is?

Im not sure why but i have tried re adding the source and messing with settings but cant seem to figure it out. looks a lot more blurry on obs (right). Side note: it looks blurry on the screen shot for some reason (left) but its actually pretty crisp in front of me.

In the source properties of your camera obs shows you a list of resolutions, see which one you have and if possible use the highest resolution. Also check if any filters may be affecting the quality, turning each one off and on and seeing if the sharpness of the image changes.
