I must be way off on my settings bit I can't see what. As always, please post a log from a streaming/recording session where the issue you're describing occurred. That lets us analyze it.
Background noise being picked up by a mic can be caused by a mic that is too sensitive in a room with lots of ambient noise. If you don't have software for your mic, then you'll want to look into the mic filters in OBS Studio, specifically noise gate and noise suppression.

I see that @Suslik V has concluded in your other thread that your PC is too underpowered to smoothly encode and stream/record video. Having finally seen your system specs from your log, I'm inclined to agree with that assessment.
yeah I guess so. they said a certain size like 640x480 was as big as you could go. I trued that but it still didn;t work. I am thinking of getting a new Windows 10 PC in the future so maybe I can try this then. Sorry for bugging everyone here. I know you all are volunteers. My Asperger's tends to do that at times, so I apologize. you guys rule. It's just too bad no one can click on links when you put web addresses on there. Was trying to think of a way I could advertise my facebook page andso on using the reciorder feature at least.
