Question / Help Does anyone else get lag in the preview??

So like the title says I get lag in the preview but the recording comes out fine nice and smooth. Before i had an issue where my recording and stream would come out laggy as well but fixed that for some reason running 2 monitors on my streaming pc caused that issue. When i disconnected one the recordings are now smooth.

Just wondering if anyone else gets a laggy preview or is it just me?

Please understand that this is a community support forum run by community volunteers. We're all here in our spare time.

As for the issue, since the capture card is the only thing loaded and it looks like OBS was functioning properly (I don't see any lagged/skipped frames in the log), can you try the card in Avermedia's software directly and see if it has the same issues there? Also, make sure you connected it to a USB3.0 port as it is a USB3.0 device.

thanks and yes i know its a community volunteer forum but when people say post a log and then dont help.. look at how many threads there is like that. Im just frustrated cause of this issue im having so sorry for taking it out on here just nothing seems to fix it.

Without being able to test in Avermedia's software, I'm not sure we'll be able to tell if the issue is OBS or the card. Since all your logs point to no issues with OBS itself, I'm leaning toward the card itself being the problem here.

Thanks just wanted someone to look over the logs to make sure it was not obs appreciate it. Im actually looking at getting a capture card that can do 144fps as I play on a 144hz monitor and seems like theres no way to get rid of screen tearing even when i run obs on my gaming pc and project the preview its still there.
