So I got a new PC. Wanted to start recording. I have a Ryzen 5 3600 and (badly paired with) a GT 1030. When I record and I take a look at my footage it doesn't look like 1080p and when I put it in an editing software it doesn't even fit the 1080p preview and I have to scale it to 150% meaning it is 720p. I've looked around all the settings. I use x264 and CBR. It wasn't recording quality, it wasn't base and Output resolution, it wasn't downscale filter and not even putting "output" to advanced mode and cranking up the bitrate from 2500kbps to 12000kbps. Even capturing the game instead of the display doesn't make a difference. So any solutions to output the video to my desired 1080p? If not what could be the reason? (Is it the monitor?) I wanna upload to yt.
