im stressed out. please help if possible....

im streaming music in a small room 10 x 9 fooot. i want to have no lights on except my flashing strobe lights and derby lights. the camera is abot 7 feet from my dj booth . so im trying to create some atmosphere with dark room with flashing lights. .. problem is to get the whole back drop in which is a 10foot by 8 foot high wall tapestry behind me i need to have the cam at 100% which makes me huge, im so not comfy filling peoples screens entirely so i want to be like 25% true size, whilst keeping the whole back ground in situ. i know i can shrink cam window to my desired size, but that shrinks the back drop as well, so im the right size but then the backdrops not filling the screen. i cant use green screen as i have no lights on. so how do i do this. driving me insane... sounds so simple yet so complicated ..

If it's all the same shot, then you're almost stuck. There's a camera trick called "forced perspective" that you can look up on your own, that has to do with the physical placement and zoom setting, but it's not magic either.

I think your best bet would be to take a still image of your backdrop by itself, not during the gig, and then set the camera to only see you during the gig. Composite those two things together in OBS to get what you want.

Or, if you want the lights to hit the backdrop and look real, then you could use two cameras and have it actually be real. Otherwise, same idea: capture yourself and the backdrop separately, and put them together in OBS.
