Distortion using OBS and serato

Hello all. I encountered this issue last year while using a webcam with serato and obs but it seems to be back again.
Whenever music is playing through Serato to obs and it sounds fine, when I enable the webcam, it gets distorted, and pops and clicks occur. Cannot find a solution for this other than disabling the webcam. Also this does NOT happen when I select the OBS virtual camera, which I never use.
Log file is attached. Any help would be much appreciated.

If your Serato and webcam are on the same USB hub (external or internal), activating the webcam could be using up the USB bandwidth. Try lowering the resolution of the webcam, or plugging the devices into USB ports on opposite sides of the laptop if available.

I’m not using a hub anymore. That’s what the problem was before with the static and pops and clicks. When I went straight through , it stopped. But now I got a replacement webcam (same as before) and it’s doing it again.

It doesn’t have resolution controls.
I seem to have found the solution though. Plugged the usb hub into the OPPOSITE side. So it seems to work, at least for now. I know USB hubs can be finicky and sometimes not work well.
