Hello,
I am streaming via obs for my local Church - we have currently been running obs with video from a camcorder into a capture card and then into obs and streaming to facebook live. The sound is run from a sound system straight into the laptop via the headphone jack. It alls works fine on a Dell laptop we had be borrowing to stream on, but now we have brought a hp laptop we are having issues with the sound - its all distorted and sounds horrible! We have set the obs up exactly the same as on the Dell laptop - the only difference between the two laptops is we have to use a mic/headphone splitter cable in the HP laptop for the laptop to recognise the microphone, other then that its exactly the same set up, but certainly doesn't sound it! I have recorded what it sounds like but it won't let me attach it - if there is a way to attach it, I will willingly do so
