Hey there!
A little about me; I decided to upgrade to OBS Studio from Classic, because there was a feature in Studio that Classic wouldn't possess--that's allowing to choose audio recording sources, and allowing you to exclude the broadcasting PC's audio. :) So I'm sticking to Studio for the current time, even if I need better time/date plugins than what I can manage with Snaz.
About my problem:
I am not sure how to have the same Blackmagic video source use a different set of filters based on the scene. Here's an example of problematic behavior:
I have one scene in OBS where the Global Source of my Blackmagic video is present. This one scene is a copy of the others, and is for a specific game. That means the active area of the input video is of different resolution than the default. Of course, I would use a cropping filter, but adding a filter to that source applies it across all scenes, not just the one I am editing.
I'm still at a loss. If I create a new Blackmagic Video source that uses the video settings of the previous, all video using that device freezes. This means the original and the scene-specific one freeze. I can't imagine how to create a new device with the proper filter settings for this one scene.
How can I have this video source be properly resized for a scene, without freezing the video?
