Often but not always display capturing won't capture anything or just stream a still image. Here's a log file of when that happened, it doesn't even look like a stream was started, but people saw a still image of my desktop with OBS and (in that case) DOSBox open, also they heard sound all the time: https://hastebin.com/cawuzoweva

It might be a coincidence, but I think this problem started after I upgraded my OS to Windows 10 1803.
 
I was able to narrow the problem down: It seems to occur whenever I minimize OBS to start the game I want to stream. When I switch back to OBS, it doesn't capture the display any more. This happens with game capturing as well! Sometimes changing scenes helps, sometimes I have to restart OBS to ghet it working again.
