Question / Help Display capture with no image

Hi guys!

I've being using OBS for 2 years and after one last update it started to show only a red preview so I decided to switch to the multiplatform

the preview in open GL is working perfectly and showing everything (preview window http://puu.sh/gVfK8/9cac81c09b.jpg), but when I try to stream or record, the output is only audio, the video is black

I tried using the Direct3D and managed to output my camera image and images layout, but everything else from my desktop is black, including the display capture, and windows captures. At least on the Direct 3d the output is exactlly the same as the preview (a black canvas with my camera on a corner)

I am using a notebook with switchable graphics, which I believe could be causing it, the main graphic card is a Radeon HD8970M
I set both 32 and 64 version to use this graphic card but none of my cards appear on the video adapter option

in resume

OpenGl
everything works on the preview
output only audio

Direct 3d
only camera and image overlays works on the preview
output exactlly the preview

Any ideas how to fix that?

Thanks!

I think it is indeed coming from your switchable graphics...can you "force/block" your GPU choice on Radeon before starting OBS ? All programs you want to capture must use the same GPU.

yes, I can but it is not solving
I have all the versions on a high performance setting
I added the 6 exe files ( obs64/32 get-graphics-offset64/32 and inject-helper64/32 )on the High performace list

I also marked all of them to have admistrator privilegies on the properties and still I cant output what I see on the preview window

UPDATE

worked after taking off the option of downscaling the output and using OpenGL.

I tested all the downscale filter and looks like the problem was with the Bicubic one, all the other 2 are working

Oh yeah that's true: there's problems with Bicubic ! (sorry to have forgotten that ^^') Lanczos is the best sampling method right now ;)
