At unknown times, my display capture, which works fine when it isn't cutting out, will just, well...cut out. This usually doesn't happen under circumstances where i can pinpoint the exact time it happens, or what i was doing when it happened, so it's been very difficult to reproduce. Fortunately, restarting OBS will make it continue to work, but it is a bit of an annoyance, and since I don't know what causes it, It's always a concern that it could happen in the middle of a stream when I want to show the desktop.
Most recently, I was able to nail down a period of time between the end of a stream, and a short while later where the display capture had suddenly stopped working and needed a restart of OBS. During this time, I had changed scenes to something that had no form of capture active, and it had stopped working when i switched back to the scene with display capture on. Recreating the same circumstances did not cause the same failure.

can anyone tell what's wrong and how to prevent this from happening?
