Question / Help Display capture says no properties available and shows a black screen

I need to capture my screen for work and while in the office I use OBS, but now I'm at home. I don't remember all the settings I had at the office and have been reading on what to do, but maybe I'm wrong. I've been trying to use Display capture, but the pop-up window for the settings says no properties available. Then in the main window, the "screen" is black, and that black screen is recorded. Is there a better way to record my screen?

I use multiple windows and browsers (I'm a bug tester for a university).
