Question / Help Display Capture only working at one scene

So guys, I have this weird problems. I've made 2 scenes for different amount of screen I want to capture. And when I switch between scenes, the DISPLAY CAPTURE becomes blank at one scene. I am capturing the same screen at both scenes, yet at one it is working and on the other one there is a blank screen.

So as you can see on the screenshot, at both scenes I am using the DISPLAY CAPTURE feature and I'm capturing the same monitor (just cropped a bit differently) and yet if I switch between these two scenes, at "4Tabling setup" it shows the screen and on the other one there is just a black screen.

Anyone have an idea why is that so? I am getting really desperate about this :(

Are you add second 'Display Capture' source as 'Add existing' or by 'Create New'?

You can't capture the same monitor twice, you need to do what Suslik said.

Well, I created 2 scenes (one for playing poker on 2 tables and one for playing on 4 tables). I added "Display Capture" on both and I used "Create new" on both of them, as I want to capture different parts of my monitor. What is funny is, sometime when I start OBS the display capture screen is blank to begin with and I have to restart OBS and then it's working.

I have no idea why this is so...

You can't do this. In a scene collection you can only have one Display capture per display. Because filters are global this means any cropping you do will apply to both scenes.

Obvious solution here is create a new Scene Collection for each type, one for 2 tables, one for 4 tables.

You can ofcourse do alt-cropping which is not global.

I confirm, Jaka could try to add second 'Display Capture' source as 'Add existing' (make cloning) and do cropping with easy cropping (ALT cropping).

aaaaaaaaaaah, so I use the same DISPLAY CAPTURE at every scene I just crop it differently in each scene!!! Thanks guys, much appreciated :)
