Display capture - dark/ low brightness fix

Hi

I've been searching for a solution of forums about this one and I found one that worked for me, so posting it here.

I recently changed monitors so not sure if this triggered a change in my display settings.

What was causing the display capture to be darker/low brightness than what I see on my monitor is the HDR = On in Windows Display Settings. Once this was turned off, it fixed my issue.

Any other fix in OBS didn't work, like changing resolutions, Encoder, Downscale Filter, Color Range, Color Space.

This is happening to me, but HDR is off. I have no idea how to fix it :(

This was working for me with the fix in version 29.1, but now it's broken again

In your source properties enabling "force sdr" will fix the color mismatch caused by recording an hdr screen
