When seeing the preview on obs it shows my desktop when I'm on my desktop, it shows my window browser when I'm on my browser, it shows YouTube when I'm on YouTube. Essentially, it shows what I hope to see in the recording when on the preview when and while recording. The audio output capture bounces like my audio input (mic) capture when playing audio from my computer. However, when I finish recording, I check the footage and it is always nothing but a black screen with my mic audio- no display and no computer audio. I recorded a game and the results were just the same. I have deleted it and downloaded it again and nothing has changed. I've tried playing the recording in different media players and still no success. I don't know what to do. I have my settings like this guy
except I have the video straight to mp4 instead as an flv, though I did try flv for a little bit thinking it might help but to no avail. I would appreciate any help because I am completely lost.
