I want to record the discord app. When I try to use window or game capture, the app just shows up as a black box. I have tried OBS Classic and Studio. The only way I can currently properly record discord is by doing a monitor capture.
Discord is based on Chromium, and as such very likely makes use of hardware acceleration. Unless you can turn that off, and I don't think you can in Discord, it won't be window-capturable.
