Recently I've been trying to setup my stream and I realize that my audio in OBS sound extremely horrible, but when I test my audio in Discord it sounded so much better. Can anyone explain to me why and how I can fix this?
Discord does a degree of microphone filtering. OBS does not, and records what your microphone really sounds like, raw.
You can apply filters to your microphone in OBS, including many VSTs to help refine and de-noise the input. I'm not sure if there's a "one and done" though.
