Hello Guys,

I have an issue and i dont know what is causing it.

Im not having drop frames, i just get disconnect every 4 minutes, sometimes i get at 9 minutes but thats is it.
My PC is linked to my modem trough cable

I read the thread about Dropped frames/disconnecting/lag

My Download and Upload speed 15mb/2mb
I tried to stream at 480p with bitrate values from 300Kbps up to 1500Kbps

Tried all servers
Tried Twitch/hitbox/youtube/etc
Tried 2 computers ( one of then is a i7 4790k/ Gtx 1050 ti/ 8gb ddr3 1600hz )
Tried OBS/Xsplit

Using the Twitch Bandwidth Test the highest quality i get is 48

Does it mean the problem is my ISP? Any other tips or something to test that i could be sure its my ISP

From the thread you linked:

Quality is an attempt at rating the connection quality based on the number of TCP re-transmissions and average delay between sends. Re-transmissions indicate bandwidth throttling, congestion or packet loss. This number will likely have some variation every time you run it due to network conditions, anything over 80 is probably stable enough for streaming.

So none of those are even close to high enough quality for a good stream. I would guess that its your ISP. You could disconnect everything else from your internet router to make sure nothing else at your premises is competing for bandwidth I suppose, and run a new test.

Well, today i called my ISP and runned some tests...
I tried to stream in a different computer, guess what? It worked

I dont know what is the issue but im sure is not my ISP. I have a notebook with really bad configuration and it streamed for hours today. I guess the problem is related to software or hardware issues.

I formated my desktop, instaled a win10 64 bits, same as the notebook... still not working. I find really hard to believe in a hardware problem because i can use everything else but stream...

Any other tips so i can try?

Ehh... not really, sorry. Sounds like a local lan or network card problem, impossible for us to diagnose really.

The only difference between the notebook and the desktop software is Windows 10 Updates... i will update and post the results... if nothing change, i will buy a new Network card and se if it solve the issue.

Ok the problem came back again... cant stream in my notebook or desktop... this is crazy.
For some reason the notebook was working and my desktop was not... now both of it dont work, its not OBS... Its not SO or hardware... wich mean its my ISP, how is that possible?

Well I FIXED.... FINALLY

After months trying in a luck shot i fixed it.

Tried 3 differents computers, spent hours annoying my ISP about the problem...

The only thing i didnt try until yesterday was my modem.

I start playing with its configuration and when i set it up to Bridge mode... Worked.

One of the most happiest moments of my life ahaha

I dont know what change between Bridge and non-Bridge modes but yeah, thats is it.

I just to make sure i reseted my modem like 3 times and tried... didnt work. Turned won the bridge mode... Worked.

Can someone explain what changes in bridge mode that made it works?

( my english is pretty bad so please, dont mind)
