Question / Help disable streaming

Hi i know this might be odd. But at work we use obs studio to record training material, and edit it for education. But as an administrator we cannot allow that the destop are published, are the any way to do this ie delete any dll, switch in setting file, group policy ?

You cannot disallow OBS to record your desktop while retaining the ability to record everything else. OBS has no permission system to allow or disallow to record screen items. If it is visible on screen, OBS is able to to record it.

If this is against your company policy, you must disallow the installation/usage of OBS. Or you can perhaps formally order the administrators to take care while recording, so they don't record their desktop but only the stuff they are allowed to record. OBS has no technical means to enforce restrictions in what can be recorded.

you miss understood, its the streaming feature i want to block, not the recording, we are allowed to record the desktop and edit it

Is the issue is publication that sounds like what should be a firewall rule on your institution's edge router-- block outgoing access to the ingest servers of streaming services to every device on the network.
