Question / Help Direct Audio Input from AverMedia LGP Lite?

I recently purchased the AverMedia LGP Lite to stream my Wii U to Twitch. I currently use OBS and was wondering if anyone knew a way to input the audio directly from the AverMedia LGP Lite rather than having to record my desktop audio so that my stream can hear game audio but I can't. Long story short, I want to be able to hear my desktop audio for stream alerts, but don't want to be able to hear the delayed audio from the game. I am using Game Capture (Syphon Inject) for the game input.

Current Setup:
Mac OS 10.12.2
OBS 0.16.2
AverMedia LGP Lite (GL310)
iShowU Audio Capture

Thanks!

The default mode of the video capture device will be to output to stream only. Just set it back to this in the video capture device properties.

I am using "Game Capture", not "Video Capture Device" as it does not recognize the game input. There are no audio output options in RECentral software from AverMedia. Also, when I mute the game audio in RECentral, it mutes the game audio in OBS because it's my desktop audio and OBS isn't importing game audio from Game Capture.

I see a few misunderstandings here. Game Capture does nothing with audio, that's video only. Audio is handled by the device selections in Settings -> Audio, or by adding an audio input/output capture to the scene directly.

I guess the LGP doesn't offer proper drivers on Mac for you to be able to add it to OBS correctly, so I don't think there's a workaround unless you try and find some kind of Virtual Audio Cable for Mac.

https://rogueamoeba.com/loopback/ This might do what you want? You'll have to route only the audio you want to hear through this.
