I've seen and have been looking at a lot of posts over the last couple of years of people going crazy trying to sort out OBS dropping frames, with nobody ever able to figure anything out to mitigate or narrow down the issue.
In their recent DLSS 3 coverage, Alex at Digital Foundry talked briefly about the issue of OBS dropping frames in local capture. Same issue I've had for well over a year now, along with knowing many on here have had the issue. Just posted to show that you aren't alone, and also because this is probably the most extensive coverage that has been given that shows there is something wrong with OBS capture.
About 1:56 in the video if the timestamp doesn't take you there.
