Question / Help Digital Distortion

We are feeding our M32 audio to a PTZ camera (AViPASModel: AV1081) to provide sync between audio and video. Both are set at 48K sample rate. Our direct audio feed from the M32 into OBS has no problems other than sync issues. But running the audio through the PTZ camera, we are getting a low level digital warble echo (best way I can describe it). It's not hiss or random noise and isn't recognizable as human voice or music. It's purely digital in nature and appears immediately after someone is speaking.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

That isn't going to be created or added by OBS. If the audio is being run through the camera physically (through an AUX or MIC IN port), reach out to the camera's manufacturer; that sounds like an issue with their audio encoding circuitry.
