Question / Help Difficulty in capturing "The Surge 2"

We're having difficulty capturing The Surge 2 and broadcasting on Twitch. It appears only one frame is captured (such as the title menu), and I see no other action on stream as the game is played. Game audio comes thru fine. The stream is sometimes updated to recent action when alt-tab is pressed to switch windows, but otherwise we're stumped. The behavior is the same in Game Capture, Window Capture, and Display Capture.

Uncheck fullscreen ingame, and turn off Vsync. Window Capture works for me.

Unfortunately, this didn't work for us either.

the developers replied to me yesterday that apparently it is due to the vulcano. perhaps a solution will appear in the next couple of days

Just to clarify:

Game Capture doesn't work on games that render using Vulkan instead of Direct3D. You have to use the Window Capture type, not Game Capture-- just changing the game from fullscreen to windowed alone won't help. You also have to use Window capture.

I don't have this game so I don't know if Window capture will work, but I do know that game capture won't.
