Hey y'all. So I've been using OBS Classic since forever but decided to try to switch over today, but I'm having some issues.
Basically, I stream PC games, one of which is CSGO. I play CSGO at a different resolution than I play other games at. Don't ask... that's just how it is. I use a dual pc setup.
So, in OBS Classic, I would simply have different scenes with the exact same sources, except my capture card was set in a different resolution depending on what game I played / scene I used. So if I wanted to play CS, I'd switch over to the CSGO scene which used the same capture card in 1680x1050, if I wanted to play another game in 1920x1080, I'd simply just switch to a scene with the capture card as a source, but in 1920x1080. This worked great, no issues whatsoever.
Now I'm trying to do the same thing in OBS studio, but if I try to change the resolution of the capture device in one scene, it changes in the other scene as well and it's pretty annoying. Is there any way to force the device to use different resolutions depending on what scene it's being used in?
Thanks in advance,
Pontus
