What’s up guys!
I recently brought basically a whole new computer and I’ve decided to try to get into streaming. My specs go as follows.
MSI Gaming Pro Carbon Motherboard
Ryzen 7 1800X (3.8)
Asus Rog Strix 1050ti OC
16 RGB Gskill Trident Z ram clocked at 2933.
500GB Samsung EVO SSD.
BenQ monitor 1920x1080p 60hz
ISP provides about 400mbps Down and Up from what I’ve tested.
I’m just starting out so I don’t have transcoding and I’m not affiliated. I understand that the highest settings you should really go when starting out is 720p60 so that’s what I’m looking for. Does anybody know what would be the most optimal setting for me and my specs? I’ve tried finding my settings myself but it seems smooth one second and then out of no where it seems like I have FPS drops in the preview while my game stays smooth. (but obs doesn’t say my FPS is dropping.) I constantly had frame drops (obs did show frame drops at this point) before but enabling vertical sync helped but I still have that problem I just stated from time to time. If anybody could help me out it’d be greatly appreciated.
