My computer is configured with two video cards in the following visual config:
My 1080 is plugged into Screen 1, and the 980 is plugged into 2,3, and 4
When I play in Oculus Rift, the Oculus software creates a virtual window like this:
Now the 1080 is running screen 2, the Oculus HMD, and the viritual window 1
the 980 is running screens 3,4 and 5
I am using NVENC encoding, and have told it to use the second video card to do the encoding, so the 1080 focuses on the games.
The issue is that I have OBS Studio seems to have a hiccup during my streams which breaks a few things. This has been an ongoing issue for the past year and half, but the fact that it broke when I was on Twitch Front page yesterday is the straw the broke its back and this needs to be fixed.
In Windows Event Viewer I have the following Warning:
Application obs64.exe has been blocked from accessing Graphics hardware.
Normally when I start up OBS, I can capture my primary center screen. with no other notifications, when event viewer gets the above error, I can no longer capture my center screen. Instead it grabs my left most screen, which is running off of the 980.
If I am playing VR games or not, this will happen during my streams.
The second issue is that when this happens, it breaks every single one of my browser sources. All of my streamlabs alerts no longer works. The only way to get them to come back is to restart OBS Studio. This also will fix the program from seeing my center screen at the same time.
The above error on Event Viewer happens at 6:43:13 in the attached log
The log shows the errors:
06:43:12.796: Device Remove/Reset! Rebuilding all assets...
