My apologies if this has been discussed. I’ve tried to search about for some answers. I currently run Destiny 2 on an LG ultrawide 21:9 monitor. I play the game at 3440x1440 and have the stream set to 1720x720. It looks a bit squished. I’m running the game at windowed full screen and OBS is tracking the game through window mode. I’ve tried about everything I can think of. I’m ready to ditch this ultrawide monitor to be honest. It’s nice, but it’s been a real pain.

Stream at the correct resolution (or a 21:9 downscaled version of it) and don't try to correct for the aspect ratio. Accept that there will be letterboxing, as that's the "correct" way to do it.
Hmm, but your description indicates that you're doing things correctly. Which streaming service are you using? Can you show us the VODs? Maybe its a player issue.
