Desktop Audio not Populating When a New Scene Collection is Created

I'm super new to the program and wanted to try out more advanced features so I created a new Scene Collection;
but when I did, I noticed that my Desktop Audio clip meter wasn't there, so I tried adding an audio input source,
but still no luck on showing a clip meter.

Is this a common problem? Please let me know. Thanks.

Settings -> Audio, you want to configure it there.

Thanks for the reply. I figured if I toggle between Scene Collections it sorts itself out.
