Desktop audio is recording game capture audio

My desktop audio on obs is recording my elgato capture card audio and when I'm streaming the audio is doubled. But I also need the desktop audio for my stream notifications Im so lost and have tried everything im pretty sure lol need help.
 
Go into the Advanced Audio Properties and set the Elgato to 'Monitor Only' instead of 'Monitor and Output'. That way it will just capture the audio coming over the Desktop device.

Hm just tired that it didnt work unfortunately do you have any other solutions?
