Trying to set up OBS Studio just for recordings now. Mic audio goes in sync, but desktop falls behind ~1sec. Changing audio codecs did not help. What could it be?

On the mixer, for the desktop audio capture, click the gear button and go to properties. Then try unchecking the "use device timestamps" option and see if that helps in your case. I'm guessing your device is having some sort of timing issue.
