Hello,
In OBS studio I can not get my desktop audio to record. I have tried the following:
1. Made sure I am using 64 bit (Yes and I even tried using 32 bit to see if it would help).
2. Tried putting the desktop audio device as default, headphones and speakers, but nothing on any of them.
3. Disabled the desktop audio device and went through default, headphones and speakers on desktop 2 audio device.
4. Went into the mixer and tried as many combinations as I could think of. I checked all the boxes on both, I tried having mic on 1 and desktop audio on 2, I tried having mic on 1 and 2 and having desktop audio on 1 and 2, tried having mic on 1 and 2 then having desktop audio on 3 and 4…
5. I tried moving the volume and panning around on both mic and desktop audio, but nothing seemed to happen other than my mic went off.
6. I tried muting and unmuting both devices and all that happened is my mic was muted.
7. I changed the audio output to be 320.
8. I created a new profile and scene.
9. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling OBS studio.
Does anyone know what else I should try? Nothing I have done seems to do anything. OBS used to work on this computer, but for some reason now it doesn’t.
I am running Windows 10 64 bit on a Surface pro 4. I have OBS Studio 19.0.2.
Do I need to do anything in my windows settings? I looked in my mixer under recording devices and the only thing it has is my mic.
