Question / Help Desktop Audio Device 2

OBS Version: 0.16.6

In my audio settings, I have two devices for audio:
  • Desktop Audio Device: (My desktop speakers)
  • Desktop Audio Device 2: (My headset)
The desktop speakers have the game sound playing while my headset has the VOIP software going through it (Discord / TS / Vent, etc). Viewers watching my Twitch channel can hear me talking but they cannot hear anyone else replying / talking. I checked the mixer for the headset (Device 2) and, when people talk, I can see it picking them up. The sound, however, isn't being relayed to the stream for whatever reason. So, for the time being, despite OBS picking up my headset and the people talking in Discord, the output to Twitch makes it appear that I'm talking to myself, lol.

Any help in resolving this would be greatly appreciated.

Click the gear icon next to the Mixer text and make sure your Device 2 is enabled on track 1.

I checked this option and, you're right, it was on track 4. That brings me to another question, though - should all my audio sources be on a different track? By default all 4 boxes are checked on all three sources (desktop, headset, mic). Should I put one on track 1, one on track 2, and one on track 3?

Thanks for your quick reply, Simes. It's appreciated.

For streaming, you want to have track 1 checked for everything, as streaming only uses one track (so you need all your devices sent to that track). Separating things out to different tracks is useful for recording so that you can do edits on the audio tracks separately.
