Desktop audio and headphones

Hi! I've just installed OBS on my new MacBook Air M1 with Big Sur and I'm having struggles with the audio. I was unable to record my desktop audio, but I followed this tutorial and it seemed to work well. The thing is that if I use some headphones, I still cannot hear anything through them and the audio still "goes out" the speakers. Is there a way to record my desktop audio and be able to hear it through my headphones? Thanks in advance
