Question / Help Delay streaming from OBS to twitch??

Hey everyone, I'm having a delay issue with streaming to twitch from OBS. It's around 15 seconds right now, just wondering if someone knows a way to cut down on the lag time, or what setting are best?? I'm streaming off a laptop, not sure whether to use x264 or hard drive option. Any help would be appreciated!
 
Funny you mentioned this..I also have about 12 second delay..I never asked about it because I don't game...
If i do something on my end, I don't see it happen on Twitch for about 12 seconds..
 
Mixer is a streaming service. Its address is mixer.com. It is available as one of the choices under Streaming Services. There are two items there-- Mixer FTL and MIxer RTMP. Mixer FTL allows for very low latency streaming.
