Deinterlace mode question for a Sony camera interlaced output.

I have a Blackmagic Decklink Mini Recorder that accepts 1080p30. However, it seems my Sony camera HDMI output is 1080p60 over HDMI even if I am recording 30p. So the Decklink Mini isn't recognizing the signal.

I have to set the Sony HDMI output to 1080i and it works giving me a 1080p60i output from the 1080p30 recording in-camera.

Now I want to properly interlace the 1080i60 back to 1080p30 for OBS export. However, there are a bunch of different modes for everything. Given the above, what is the best mode? I have no technical knowledge of what all that means.

First I would check if it's actually interlaced video. Play back frame by frame and see if you're getting duplicate frames. Because I am! I'm about to post a thread about it
