Definitive Settings - (GSYNC/Hz) NVIDIA Surround + 4th Screen

Hi,

I'm just trying to get back into streaming after having had my GPU blow up :-(
I've had my GPU repaired and have been double checking settings etc.

Basically I run four screens which can run 60Hz or 74.973Hz (Freesync). They do have the ability to run Freesync (GSYNC IN NVIDIA CP) which I use on the lower three.

One up top: 1920x1080 running at 60Hz. (No GSYNC)
Three down below: 1920x1080 which run in NVIDIA surround at 5760x1080 and use GSYNC at up to 74.973Hz.

I run OBS on the top screen, game on the NVIDIA surround and crop the capture to the middle screen at 1920x1080 at 60Hz.

My questions are:
1/ Will running GSYNC with a variable refresh rate on the NVIDIA surround negatively impact the OBS capture? In Video settings I specify 60Hz, and play (Limit) the games to 60Hz and also use VSYNC via in-game settings. But of course the games FPS can vary from 30-60 (Not a well optimised game).
The reason I set the GSYNC Surround display to 75Hz is purely because if I set it to 60Hz, then it's well known that you need to knock off a few Hz to have GSYNC work smoothly.

2/ Am I better not using GSYNC and purely run all screens at 60Hz? Is there any performance benefit to OBS? What effect would the 'Limit capture framerate' have here?

Not specifically looking to resolve an issue as such, more looking to see what the best settings are with this setup, any see if there are other NVIDIA Surround/GSYNC users and what they do regards GSYNC/Monitor refresh rates.

Cheers.

Hmm. Think I've found an issue with trying to run the top screen (Which I have OBS on) at 60Hz. Despite the NCP and Win10 display settings being at 60Hz for this top screen with no GSYNC, and Freesync being tuned off on the monitor.

It seems something is conflicting as https://www.testufo.com/refreshrate is showing 74Hz rather than 60Hz :-/

I assumed that the GSYNC would only apply to the three using NVIDIA surround at 75Hz, as the single 60Hz monitor doesn't show the same/available GSYNC settings. Hmm.

I run all 4 of my monitors @ 60HZ with Fixed Refresh rates, no gsync. When I want hi refresh rates I run 1 monitor @ 120, 240 or 360. 75, 144, 165 are dead to me...
