Im not sure how it happened but in the middle of a stream my soundcard stopped working so I had to stop streaming. It looked like id was dead and Windows was not able to find it anymore. So I set OS to record from USB headset instead. Next day it worked again and I set OBS back to the onboard soundcard. BUT I have 20 scenes which ALL were set back to default so next time I switched scene I started streaming with NO sound.
One thing is OBS not being able to revert to the right audio device after it was gone. Another is that if it is set back to Default it should have taken over and captured audio. But Default is dead.
I wonder why OBS does NOT record sound when set to Default.
