Default Contrast Setting Resets to 0 in OSB with Elegato HD60S+ Capture Device on Windows 10

Hi Everyone,

Many thanks if anyone can help with this issue. I am using an Elegato HD60S+ capture device and OBS 27.0.1 for Windows. For some reason or another whenever I first launch OBS it resets the Contrast setting for the capture device to 0 (the default should be 128) This causes all the colors to darken. It is easily fixed by right clicking the device to access its properties in OBS, and then "Configure Video" which launches what looks like a device management dialogue box for the Windows 10 device. You then manually set it to 128 and its back to normal. This does not "save" or remember the setting, as next time you launch OBS it resets to 0. This never was a problem until one day I was adjusting those settings to see if I could reduce some washed out colors. Even clicking Default does not work. In Windows 10 you cannot "manage" the device using the settings menu, becuase its a UVC device and has no driver. So I am unsure if this is an OBS issue. This never used to be a problem. If anyone has a permanent fix that would be great! many thanks for taking the time to read about my issue.
