Hello everyone,
I have some spare parts and an idea. Two of the most dangerous things imo.
Ok so Ive been using the graphics card to encode NVEC. I enjoy playing face paced games and I feel that I may be able to get more quality out of this setup. Im using the following obs settings:
The Elgato HD is the bottleneck here but my intention is to upgrade is to one capable of 1080p 60 frames. However i am curious as to your opinion whether I would get better performance via CPU or GPU.
And if I had 2x GPUs same models would i be able to make them work in sync to process an even greater quality of stream or recording.

- I built a dedicated streaming PC with a decent CPU I7 6700K & 8GB RAM
- I have an Elgato HD which i want to upgrade in future
- GTX 1080
